Design

The ability to create a dialogue and a close partnership with the client is one of Decormarmi’s principal strengths. Synergy begins with the design: in this phase Decormarmi sends out experts to take measurements and photos and supports the architecture studio and the client in the analysis, definition, and evolution of the final drawings.

Selection of marble

Marble, stone, onyx: it’s not easy to choose from an infinite variety of colours, textures, and possibilities. On the strength of its experience and constant research, Decormarmi not only recommends the material best suited to the client’s requests, but selects the individual block or sheet to use for each project, for an ideal, unique result every time.

Marble treatments

Treatments, technologies. Materials undergo a wide variety of treatments, using technologies that afford the utmost precision and the least possible waste. Decormarmi has 5-axis CNC machines, 2D and 3D waterjets, milling machines, lathes, and polishers directly on site. Treatments, types. Decormarmi’s marble treatments can be divided into three main types. Inlays for floors, walls, and decorative elements, with chromatic and textural effects produced by the combination of different kinds of marble. Bas-reliefs of any size, inspired by classical models, of great artistic value. Sculptures and three-dimensional elements for interiors and exteriors, to give the material all-round drama.

Workmanship

Using artisanal and artistic techniques to work the marble, Decormarmi creates one-of-a-kind pieces that add prestige and dramatic flair to any indoor or outdoor space. Inspection

After being produced one by one, the different elements are grouped together to make sure they exactly match the drawing, that they interlock perfectly, and that the colour pairings are just right. The purpose of this phase is to inspect the quality of the final product and make any necessary changes before it is installed.

Installation

Decormarmi ships its products worldwide and offers personalized installation services: from supervision by a Decormarmi consultant to on-site assistance, or an all-inclusive service where the company takes care of every aspect of installation and its master setters ensure the perfection of the final result.
